8:28 p.m. - 2010-07-14 A Review Of Join i5- More Than Just A Company, It's A Movement
When I first decided to a do a review of the company Join i5, I know nothing about this company or its products. I did not even know about their mission. I like to do reviews on companies that I have never heard of because it gives me the possibility of finding a great company that has been overlooked. I took a dive into the world of Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM).
With Join i5, I was at no loss of surprises. As I delved into the information on this company, I realized that it was unlike any other MLM business I have yet to encounter and I was fascinated with the mission and concept. This review will address all of the details that caught my attention while learning about the Join i5 opportunity. It will cover the businesses over all system, the compensation plan, charities, the mission, as well as discuss some of the related skepticism associated with the name.
What exactly is Join i5 and what does it entail?
The name Join i5 is short for, "Join and Invite 5" other people to do the same. A brief look at the Join i5 website offers very little details and only has one "About" tab along with a "Join" tab. It seems to imply that in order to acquire any further information, you must first join. Being that I love challenges like this, I was eager to then begin a further internet exploration into the opportunity. This further digging led to additional team websites dedicated to the Join i5 business. Here is where the mystery became a little clearer.
After studying more detailed information regarding Join i5, it seems more evident that this is more of a movement rather than a business. "Consumers Effect Change" is posted as their tagline and they harbor a somewhat two-folded mission statement, referencing both a Philanthropic and Privacy movement. The Provacy Movement is to challenge the regular methods of internet advertising that are based upon the surfing history of the user by instead making them available only upon request. The Philanthropic Movement is more to establish a method where both the user and non-profit of their choice can benefit when opting for the "request only" ads.
Join i5's System
All you must do to become a Join i5 member is to sign up on the website at no charge. Once you join, you are then prompted to choose a non-profit that you will then share a percentage of their click earnings. Members are given a browser widget that provides them with certain advertisements when clicked on. The member then observes the ads and rates them on a star scale of 1-5. They can also choose to share their ad with whichever social networkign sites they belong to by clicking on the share button in the ad's window.
This sounds very simple. So how do you actually earn money for your non-profit, and is it really that easy?
Join i5: Compensation Plan
The company has a compensation plan that works by paying per click. As you view different advertisements and rate them, you get credits into your member account. Once you rack up $10 you can cash out your money.
To make a decent income from this company is very hard. You would need to click a incredibly high amount of advertisements to make that possible. Join i5 creates a marketing strategy that creates different levels of cashing out. It becomes a team project where every can get on and click the ads. You then earn what you click, and also whatever other people click.
The examples of payouts I have located in my search suggests a possible four figures each month when viewing as few as 5 to 10 advertisments daily. However, this is only possible with a rather strong downline that is established that is deep about 7 levels and only works if all members view and click on those 5010 ads every day.
It isn't hard to notice from experiences and discussions that going about this with only a few people will not result in a lot of money for you and it is therefore possibly not even worth the effort if you don't focus on building your downline. In order for this to happen, members would need to implement a turnkey method for generating that downline of people willing to click every day.
This sounds like a scam, is it?
To some, the Join i5 movement may sound a little suspicious as there is very limited information on the company. However, the forums found online are all current members of Join i5 and they do validate that the payouts happen. Many members have admitted that while receiving the money can be slow at times, they do still receive payment.
There are also many legitimate marketers that embrace and endorse the movement as well due to the philanthropic structure to it. The charities that benefit from this system are relevant and respected establishments like the Make a Wish Foundation as well as the American Red Cross. Being that it costs nothing to join, it doesn't seem that there is much for the Boloto Group, which is the group behind Join i5 to benefit from other than achieving their mission.
Should You Try Join i5?
Join i5 has created a great idea that really does help non-profits by funding revenue from advertisements. It is really up to you whether or not you will join this company however. You will need to be very committed and find a good group of people to make any money out of this site. It is a great free website, but you will not accumulate enough money to really do to much. The only way to be successful is to get a group of people who are as committed as you to give money to charities.
